Morning Update: Hispanic Voter Shift

A new poll indicates that Hispanic voters now consider themselves Democrats three-to-one. Of those, 59 percent say they will vote for Hillary Clinton. This shift since Bush received 40 percent of the Hispanic vote in 2004 can likely be attributed to Republican anti-immigrant rhetoric (USA Today).

Richardson on Iran: In Bill Richardson’s speech on Iran yesterday, he said the first step in diplomacy will have to be the United States acknowledging mistakes in supporting the Shah and Saddam Hussein in the Iran-Iraq war.
