In a commentary released yesterday, Fred Thompson wrote that the NIE on Iran “doesn’t change my view of that we need to restrain Iran.”

Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) called the Senate Environment Committee’s new climate change bill “a start” yesterday, but said more changes are needed. Clinton yesterday voted for an amendment to that bill that would “eliminate giveaways to utilities and other companies.” That amendment failed.
