Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) criticized Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) for changing her position on the North American Free Trade Agreement and China trade relations. Clinton said “NAFTA led to economic improvement up until she started running for president,” Obama said in South Carolina.

The Clinton campaign responded, saying Obama’s campaign has been “misquoting and misrepresenting Hillary’s views on NAFTA for weeks.”

Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf, commander in the 1991 Gulf War, has endorsed Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) (Baltimore Sun). The endorsement could add to McCain’s support among military veterans.
